Hello Kitty Cake V

Oh, the ever popular Hello Kitty party decor at Party City. This is the fifth cake I've done to match it. I love Hello Kitty and it's fun to come up with new ways to incorporate the colors and elements. This cake was for Olivia, who turned 5. I worked with Olivia's mom a few years back and we were pregnant at the same time. I imagine our boss was thrilled to have two of us on maternity at the same time. Oh, well.
Olivia's mom wanted fondant swags and a Hello Kitty figure. The HK is RKT (a little fat). The cake is chocolate vanilla marble with chocolate buttercream.

Hello Kitty Cake IV

I made this cake a couple months ago, but I didn't get any pictures of it except for this one from Instagram. It was for 2 sisters who had the exact same birthday, two years apart. It was made to match the same Hello Kitty party decor as this and this.

Hello Kitty Cake #3

This cake was for Kylie, who turned 6. She wanted Hello Kitty and Sleeping Beauty, but I couldn't figure out how to incorporate both. The cake was vanilla chocolate marble with vanilla filling.
This is my last cake before baby #4, set to come this Friday. Ahh!

Sentimental Circus Cake

One of my best clients asked me to make her 14 year old's birthday cake (3rd year in a row!). She requested a Sentimental Circus theme, which I'd never heard of. The main character is a little bunny, a little reminiscent of Hello Kitty. Cake was orange dreamsicle.

Hello Kitty Cake II

This cake was made to match the same party decorations as this cake. To make it look a little different, I used the Hello Kitty that was on the decorations, and made it 2D instead of a figure. Cake was chocolate with oreo and vanilla with strawberry.

Hello Kitty Cake

Finally! Someone asked me to do a Hello Kitty cake! I grew up loving Hello Kitty- my relatives from Japan always brought me HK stuff and it was AWESOME. My mom always decorated half-sheet cakes for our birthdays and I remember one year she made me a Hello Kitty cake that I adored. I've been dying to make a HK cake, but no one had requested one.
But finally, my daughter's friend was having a Hello Kitty birthday. The cake was designed to match the party supplies.
The cake was vanilla with strawberry filling. It was so much fun, I want to do another!!
